City Taste Tours: Sights and Sweets Tour, Louisville, KY

Join City Taste Tours for a fun-filled 2.5 – 3.0 hour tour of Louisville that takes you by some the city’s most noteable sites. See Historic Old Louisville, Germantown, Harland Sanders gravesite, the world’s largest bat, and more as we drive you through the city and the charming neighborhoods of Louisville. You’ll even tour the inside of a historic Victorian mansion in the largest Victorian neighborhood in the U.S.

Along the way you’ll get to indulge in sweet treats and free tastings from historic bakeries, specialty shops, and charming candy stores. One of these yummy stops will be Schimpff’s Confectionery, which has been featured on the The Food Network and History Channel for their art of making hard candy. How can you beat that? A Tour of Louisville that feeds you all along the way!

City Taste Tours: Tour and a Taste of Louisville

Interested in both a sightseeing tour and a taste tour, but don’t have enough time to take both? Then this is the perfect tour for you! “A Tour and a Taste of Louisville” is the perfect combination of both sightseeing and tasting.

See and hear the history of the largest Victorian neighborhood in the United States.  Walk into one of the most gorgeous, most well-preserved mansions in Old Louisville. Drive through prestigious St. James Court. Enjoy a drive through the quaint streets of downtown Louisville and learn about the many fun things to do in that area. See the Ohio River and learn why the river played an integral part in the growth of this fine city.

Also, on this tour you will have the opportunity to taste some of the fun, staple foods of Louisville. Try Benedictine from a historic lunch counter. Sink your teeth into mouth-watering samples from legendary eateries, and feel your jaw drop at the sight of a local craze from a Germantown bakery. Last, but not least, visit Butchertown Market where shopping and tasting take on a whole new level.

USA: On The Road Culinary Adventures

Experience a three day, two night True Farm to Table Adventure in an extraordinary culinary location.

Our events take you on location to the farms and work with the chefs as we visit some of the most unusual and beautiful culinary regions around the United States.

We learn about the people behind our food and the beauty of their bounty.  We will sample the fresh foods from their farms throughout our tour and at the end of the day we will enjoy a four-course dinner complete with wine pairings which include regional wines, beers and spirits.

Our chef accompanies us on our farm visits to gather the freshest ingredients and share their culinary experience as we learn more about the people and places behind our food.

This is a fun, relaxing and enriching experience not to be missed.  You will learn about our farms, food and culinary arts.
