Triangle Food Tour – Raleigh Walking Food Tour

Downtown Raleigh’s District Dining via the R-Line

Experience a guided culinary journey of sight and taste that spans all 5 downtown districts to sample a cross-section of some of Raleigh’s unique local restaurant venues, blended together with some forgotten historical tidbits that leaves you full of new insights on the downtown culinary landscape. On the tour, we’ll be walking and using the R-Line circulator as we make our way through each district. It’s fun, informative and delicious.

We’ll be stopping numerous times for sample tastings from at least 6 local establishments*. For example,

  • A contemporary restaurant that takes you to new heights of dining & entertainment, or
  • A Modern Mexican experience packaged in an historic venue, or
  • A new German restaurant that will have you dreaming of bratwurst & dumplings, or
  • A fun, fine dining experience that won’t break the bank, and many more…

* tour stops can sometimes vary depending upon scheduling and availability

Saturday Tour Information

When: Saturdays- 2:00 pm (arrive 10-15 min. before- don’t be late the tour won’t wait)

Who: Able-bodied adults, no more than 10

How Much: $ 28 per person (+$2.50 svc chg), includes all tastings

Weather: Tours are rescheduled if there is a cancellation due to severe weather

What’s it like: Delicious, fun and informative (but remember we’ll be walking approx. half of the 3 hours)

What to wear: Comfortable clothes & walking shoes

Where to meet: Old Depot, 327 W. Davie St, Raleigh (In front of Jibarra). Free Parking in the lot in front of Jibarra for tour guests
