We will share what’s hot in the San Francisco food scene as we visit specialty shops and restaurants that are proud of their commitment to the very best local and sustainable ingredients. As you compare gourmet cheeses, participate in a tea tasting and indulge your sweet tooth, you’ll gain an appreciation for a distinct neighborhood that most tourists never see.

We’ll stroll past elegant Victorians, food trucks, street art and an urban farm as you learn about the history of Hayes Valley. You’ll taste and chat with other food-loving guests, and leave the tour with a host of restaurant recommendations for your next trip to Hayes Valley.

NOTE: Customers must be over 21 and bring valid id for the Sunday tour only.

Eye Prefer Paris Tours: Chocolate and Pastry Tour – Paris, France

Come and taste the sweetest Parisian sweets on the ultimate fantasy tour for chocoholics and pastry lovers. We will sample chocolates and macarons at 6 of the tastiest chocolate & pastry boutiques in Paris on either the Left Bank or the Right Bank. The tour also includes a stop for a cup of sinfully rich hot chocolate and an entertaining history of the origins of chocolate and macarons in France.

Your guide Richard Nahem, originally from New York, is a former pastry chef & chocolatier, and owned his own shop specializing in chocolate truffles. He lives in the Marais district of Paris and writes the popular Eye Prefer Paris blog.

Forktown Food Tours: Alphabet District Tour – Portland, OR

Explore the historic Alphabet District and NW 23rd Avenue, and taste culinary treasures. You’ll sample local craft beer, seasonal small plates, cocktails, tiny artisan cookies, micro-batch coffee, food cart goodness, and more, made with the seasonal ingredients that Oregon is famous for. You’ll get the stories behind the tastes through conversations with chefs, restaurant owners, and food crafters.

We will make 6-8 stops to taste while cruising through one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods and exploring Portland’s exciting food culture. Capture the feel and personality of the area and get to know Portland.

On this tour, you might find some of the following tastes…
